Network Infrastructure Renovation Project Overview

This project was part of a 3-Phase initiative to standardize the CommScope-Systimax physical network infrastructure.

American Family’s East Regional Building on its Madison, WI campus required both an infrastructure renovation and expansion to accommodate growth in staff and increased company network demands.  The project involves 3 phases of work.  The first phase required demolishing the existing cable and Telecom closets for all 5 floors in the existing areas.  Then, the next step involved the installation of 15 new Telecom Closets and Cat 6 CommScope 2071 cabling infrastructure, 1071 underfloor cabling, and fiber and copper backbone.  CC&N also worked closely with the American Family general contractor, Findorff to install the connecting cable for the Lencore Sound Masking System.

In working with the American Family IT Network team, CC&N has met and surpassed the deadline and quality of work standards for this and prior joint projects.
