Wgetthta – Wgema Campus

Extensive renovation of wireless network infrastructure within a historical building.

In May 2017 the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation finished phase 2 of an extensive renovation project known as the Wgema Campus. In order to allow offices in the Wgetthta building of the campus access to reliable wireless, CC&N updated the wireless network infrastructure. The CC&N team also installed the cabling for the security network.

The Wgetthta building is part of a collection of historical facilities. CC&N used unique techniques while installing the cabling infrastructure, in order to maintain the appearance of the original building. Halfway through the installation process, CC&N had to change the original infrastructure design without delaying construction because the size of the project was doubled. CC&N’s experienced installation and expert design allowed the Wgettha building to maintain its historical look while accessing up-to-date technology.
