CC&N provided the cabling and fiber backbone infrastructure design and implementation for the 34,525 sq. ft. building using the CommScope-Systimax 2071 solution.
Construction for the new UW-Pharmacy facility began in November of 2016 and continues on in 2017.
CC&N provided the cabling and fiber backbone infrastructure design and implementation for the 34,525 sq. ft. building using the CommScope-Systimax 2071 solution. Since CC&N is the most experienced CommScope provider in Wisconsin, we were able to meet the specific needs of all of the differing areas, including the laboratories. Their highly secured areas, the distribution center, the tech training program, mail order and contact center operations, and consolidated pharmacy services all had very specific Network needs that the physical network connectivity plan was able to address.
600 locations will be cabled and a 24 Strand Fiber Optic installation will connect the Pharmacy to the Wisconsin Interstate Network (WIN). Total connectivity will also require CC&N to provide cabling for the surveillance cameras and Wireless Access Points.
As is often the priority, project will be completed to accommodate of the Fall 2017 academic semester.
