Fiber Optic Connectivity Design
Project Overview
A physical network infrastructure remodel to improve Gehl Food’s wireless network capabilities.
In the spring of 2017, Gehl Foods remodeled its network infrastructure in order to improve and update its network speed. CC&N provided a customized copper and fiber optic connectivity design specifically for the needs of Gehl’s food and beverage manufacturing requirements.
CC&N also worked directly with the IT team to clean up disorganized telecom rooms, easing the IT department’s frustrations and enabling them to work more effectively. Dealing with the old infrastructure and working in an older building had its challenges that required knowledgeable and practical design and installation capabilities. The new IT closets and infrastructure adaptations that were made to accommodate an older building provided a connectivity improvement that increased Gehl’s network speed and improved business efficiency.
