A multi-year initiative, Fox Valley Technical College is upgrading to a high speed, high capacity campus network.
A multi-year initiative is underway at Fox Valley Technical College to upgrade their campus-wide network to provide high speed, high capacity services. CC&N was selected to assist with the demolition of the current, non-compliant cable and then to install Category 6 data grade cable as the new physical cabling infrastructure which provides the new connectivity foundation. Additionally, CC&N installed the Audio/Video infrastructure to support interactive boards and projection equipment.
To deliver top quality, FVTC chose to have the Commscope – Systimax family of structured cabling products as their network cabling standard. Custom installation techniques that involved conduit and cable tray were used to maintain an aesthetic look in all areas of the facilities. FVTC is pleased with the progress of the projects and the functionality it will bring to its students and instruction.
