Colocation Data Center Deployment Project
Colocation Data Center Deployment Overview
CC&N built tenant spaces inside an active colocation data center facility, on schedule and to the owner’s standards, even as new tenants arrived.
Colocation demand has grown as more organizations want data center space without the cost of running a facility themselves. For operators, the priority is consistency across every tenant space.
CC&N supported a colocation environment, but this wasn’t a single, all-at-once buildout. New tenants moved into the collection facility on different timelines, and infrastructure had to be installed, expanded, and finished alongside the operations already running in the building.
CC&N’s project scope required ongoing coordination as tenant buildouts were added. Maintaining consistency across the colocation environment depended on disciplined execution from one space to the next, even as priorities and requirements shifted with each new tenant.
One sloppy install in a multi-tenant facility creates extra work for every buildout that follows. A mislabeled rack or a bad pathway can mean rework later and a slower handoff to the next tenant. For CC&N’s crews, clean install work isn’t a goal; it’s a given.
The customer needed a partner who could represent their standards in the field and not just on paper. CC&N’s ability to operate cleanly inside an active, owner-driven environment delivered tenant-ready spaces without slowing the operations already underway.
CC&N was tasked with delivering tenant-ready infrastructure across an active colocation environment.
Services provided included:
All aspects of the project were required to align with the owner’s data center standards. The project-specific combination of CC&N services allowed the customer to rely on a single partner to represent their standards across every tenant space.
The experienced CC&N team met the timelines required for each buildout. Our ability to step in without a learning curve, and stay aligned with the owner’s defined build-out expectations, kept the colocation deployments moving as new tenants came online.
The individual colocation spaces were completed on time, and tenants moved in without delays. There was little rework, and the work was consistent from one tenant space to the next.
Colocation customers need a partner who can deliver inside an owner-driven environment as demand scales. CC&N’s mix of installation services provided a single reliable partner to represent the owner’s standards across every tenant space.
