Colocation demand has grown as more organizations want data center space without the cost of running a facility themselves. For operators, the priority is consistency across every tenant space.
CC&N supported a colocation environment, but this wasn’t a single, all-at-once buildout. New tenants moved into the collection facility on different timelines, and infrastructure had to be installed, expanded, and finished alongside the operations already running in the building.
Project Challenges
CC&N’s project scope required ongoing coordination as tenant buildouts were added. Maintaining consistency across the colocation environment depended on disciplined execution from one space to the next, even as priorities and requirements shifted with each new tenant.
One sloppy install in a multi-tenant facility creates extra work for every buildout that follows. A mislabeled rack or a bad pathway can mean rework later and a slower handoff to the next tenant. For CC&N’s crews, clean install work isn’t a goal; it’s a given.
The customer needed a partner who could represent their standards in the field and not just on paper. CC&N’s ability to operate cleanly inside an active, owner-driven environment delivered tenant-ready spaces without slowing the operations already underway.
