PEWAUKEE – CC&N, an employee-owned company that provides cutting-edge, full service communications technology solutions, recently attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program with competencies in Information Worker Solutions and Networking Infrastructure Solutions. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies, and work in the closest relationships with Microsoft. This status level is granted to companies that demonstrate exceptional performance levels when delivering solutions that integrate with Microsoft technologies, and have a proven ability to meet customers’ needs. By achieving Gold Certified Partner status, CC&N now has access to specialized resources, support and ongoing training that increases the depth of solutions we offer our clients.
“We are very pleased to have reached the Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program,” said Lisa Reardon, president of CC&N. “This achievement reflects CC&N’s commitment to designing, implementing and supporting our customers with the best business solutions possible.”
As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, CC&N had to declare a Microsoft Competency.
Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular solution. Each Competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry. CC&N attained the Information Worker Solutions Competency, which is designed for partners with expertise in developing collaboration and group productivity solutions around the Microsoft Office system, including collaboration and messaging, portals and content management, project and process management, and business activity tools. The company also achieved the Networking Infrastructure Solutions Competency, which proves CC&N’s proficiency in implementing solutions based on the Windows Server or Windows Small Business Server platforms.
“Achieving these competencies has better equipped CC&N to address key customer challenges by crafting infrastructure solutions for specific Windows platforms like the 2007 Microsoft Office system and the Windows Small Business Server 2003,” said Bob Wolf, vice president of technology solutions for CC&N.
As a Gold Certified Partner, CC&N can also expand its current Microsoft product offerings to include Windows 7, Server 2008, Exchange 2010 and Microsoft’s Open Communications Server.
Microsoft launched its Partner Program in 2003 to represent its ongoing commitment to the success of partners worldwide. The program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognizes partner expertise, rewards the total impact that partners have in the technology marketplace, and delivers more value to help partners’ businesses be successful.
