March 3, 2010 Madison – CC&N (Communications, Cabling & Networking) has been named the 2010 ESOP Company of the Year by the Wisconsin Chapter of The ESOP Association at the Chapter’s Spring Meeting on March 3rd in Madison. The ESOP Association is the national trade association for companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) and the leading voice in America for employee ownership. The Wisconsin Chapter represents approximately 179 companies in Wisconsin.

Based in Pewaukee, CC&N is an employee owned company specializing in cutting-edge, full-service communications technology solutions and is the largest communications cabling company in Wisconsin. Their full portfolio of services encompass 8 Centers of Expertise that deliver solutions to its customers for voice communications and data networking, wireless systems, security surveillance and management, network monitoring, mobile device management and custom managed staffing solutions.

“We’re extremely proud of this award because each of our 160 employee-owners can take credit for it,” says Lisa Reardon, president of CC&N. “Our employees embrace the advantages of being company owners, and they understand that providing a high level of expertise and exceptional customer service to our clients directly benefits them. It’s one of our competitive advantages. No other company structure delivers such motivation to every employee.”

CC&N will compete against a competitive field of ESOP Companies of the Year from The ESOP Association’s 18 other state and regional Chapters for the title “National ESOP Company of the Year.” The winner of this prestigious award will be announced at The ESOP Association’s 33rd Annual Conference in Washington, DC in May 2010.

The core cause of The ESOP Association is the belief that employee ownership will improve American competitiveness, increase productivity through greater employee participation, and strengthen our free enterprise economy.
