EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP CULTURE

CC&N is proud to be a 100% employee-owned company.  We have maintained a highly successful Employee Stock Ownership Plan every year since its inception 1995 and our stock value has increased each year since then.

CC&N's status as an ESOP organization not only benefits our employee owners, but also benefits our customers.   By its very nature, our ESOP status creates an ownership mentality that motivates employees to:

  • Be highly focused in responding to customers.
  • Be motivated to deliver expert design, implementation and service.
  • Deliver accurate, efficient and helpful information.
  • Make good business decisions and do what is right.
  • Provide competitive pricing and value to customers.

CC&N is a member of the ESOP Association on a state, regional and national level.  We actively benchmark with other ESOP companies to share successful practices and address common challenges.  More information is available about the significance of employee ownership at esopassociation.org.

The CC&N ESOP Committee, comprised of a cross-section of employees from different departments and offices, meets on a monthly basis to address a variety of issues and needs, including promoting and fostering the ESOP philosophy throughout the company; encouraging pride and responsibility in CC&N employees; and recognizing individuals for their dedication and service. In 2011, strategic issues that will be top priority include:

  • Educating new and current employees on the benefits of being an employee owner

  • Promoting the importance and value of the structure of ESOP organizations to local and national governments

  • Working with the social committee to promote moral and team-building events
